Our Property Company Group, Pyomar-Guadaiza, commenced its incursion into the property sector in Madrid and Seville. It was the dream of José Banús that revealed to us the paradise inherent in the town of Marbella, where to date we have constructed the developments Playas del Duque, Las Gaviotas III – IV and Residencial Albatros. More than 30 years ago we began development of the first part of the Playas del Duque Complex on land we owned. Playas del Duque is the result of painstaking teamwork, between our architect, Mr. Àngel Asenjo, and our group of companies. A project which has evolved over more than 20 years in various phases. The principle asset of Playas de Duque, apart from its strategic location, is the marvellous garden situated to its interior. This green area, which has become the authentic lungs of Puerto Banús, has been awarded First Prize for Costa del Sol Gardening and First Prize for garden maintenance by the Andalusian Government’s Department of Environment.

Ángel Asenjo, Playas del Duque architect, in his approach to the project, has maintained respect for the environment of the Complex, such that both the design and the materials employed are the most appropriate, opting for Mediterranean style architecture, without renouncing modernity. In addition, an environmental analysis had been implemented, so as to provide for maximum protection of the environment and harmonisation with the surroundings.
